We came together back in 2006, starting with six men who had known each other since back in the Lowrider Club days. We all threw around different ideas for a name but one name described and hit the mark where we wanted to be: PIRATAS, meaning 'Pirates'. With the name in effect, the colors and patch design came without a second guess: Red and Black with a skull whose grin and shades say it all. This would be our flag.
Not wanting to represent any one city in particular, we chose to represent all of (area code) 510. As PIRATAS MC grows, you will hopefully see more and more area codes displayed under our colors. PIRATAS is an MC where any man that is willing to live by our creed, respect our brotherhood and fly our colors with pride will always be welcomed by our family.
We are building a foundation that will not only withstand the test of time, but will stand side by side with its members and their families. We are not into "banging". Any of our members that once were, have left that scene far behind many years ago. We are not into heavy demands like many clubs out there are. Now don't take that in the wrong way, we just like to keep it mellow. We respect others and their ways. Everyone has a path to follow. We have rules and commitments that we have to stand by. Just think of it as, "the dedication without the obligation." Our belief...our families come first.
We are strong in character and pride and we do our own thing. We have much respect for everyone and every club out there and we expect the same in return. We just want to cruise the asphalt seas, enjoy the freedom, chill and take in all the good at every port we land in and are welcomed.
